I'm an adaptable community leader applying human-centered design skillsets to a 17-year background of operations, finance, construction, environmental science, off-grid solar power, gardening, yoga-ing, and dad jokes. In my spare time, I'm "L-Train" of the radio program "Radio Ninja" - on-air since 2003.

I'M OUTDOORSY

When I think about why I'm so drawn to the natural world, I remember that nature reminds us of something that has solid integrity and is based in truth.  Design principles are everywhere in the natural world! Ask me about my Appalachian Trail Thruhike.

PEOPLE RELY ON ME TO LEAD

The best teachers are great students. (I come from a long line of them!) I have found that being an empathetic leader will offer an opportunity for deeper understanding and better communication.  I am drawn to how the multiple parts of a team work toward a common goal.  My experience in the outdoors also evolved to a trail consultant role with Firefly Arts Collective and subsequently the Event Lead for the Firefly Arts Festival.
